The Grand Opening Ceremony of RiverWoods School was celebrated on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. The First Lady and Eminent Educationist Begum Rashida Hamid have adorned the occasion by her gracious presence as the Chief Guest, unveiling the Inaugural stone, hoisting the School Flag and her valuable speech. She urged families to play the key role to protect the young generation from the negative effects of IT. She added, “although River Woods School will conduct its educational curricula in English, they must remember that the young people of this country have given away their lives in 1952 to earn the rights of their mother tongue. They will also have to reflect the glorious history, tradition, and culture along with the great Liberation War.”
